NABLUS, West Bank, Dec 26 (AFP): Israeli troops killed six Palestinians Saturday in two separate operations, including a raid in the West Bank targeting members of president Mahmud Abbas's Fatah party.
The incursion in the northern West Bank town of Nablus saw dozens of Israeli jeeps surround three houses in the historic Old City, witnesses said.
Troops then entered the houses and according to family members shot dead the three members of the Western-backed leader's secular party.
Witnesses said none of the three had resisted arrest or fired on Israeli troops and alleged the trio had been killed in cold blood.
