A positive move by Nagorik Samaj

I am happy that a platform of civil society has taken an initiative for holding a dialogue between the ruling party and main opposition parties to end the current political stalemate. Nagorik Samaj has sent three letters to the President, the Prime Minster and BNP chairperson.  The President has a big role to play here and we hope he will rise above the party interests and make best efforts from his position to bring about lasting peace in the country.

 Pressure is mounting at home and abroad and I am sure, the ongoing political crisis can be resolved through negotiations. Both the ruling party and the opposition must restrain themselves from doing further damage to the country. I once again thank Nagorik Samaj for its initiative and hope it will bring a positive vibe in our politics.
