India-Pakistan match of Asia cup has fulfilled the expectations of cricket lovers all over the world. It is known as the mother of all battles in international cricket. When India and Pakistan play against each other, it is much more than a mere cricket match. Tension runs high and no team wants to give in.
Mirpur stadium certainly became the centre of all attention of cricket lovers due to the high profile match of India-Pakistan. Bangladeshi cricket lovers have enjoyed the match after the disappointing defeat of Bangladesh team against the emerging cricket team of Afghanistan. They were not disappointed as we saw an epic match where Pakistan beat their arch rival India in a nail biting thriller. It could not be better than this nor could anyone expect more. Shahid Afridi undoubtedly was the man of the match as his two mighty blows sent Pakistan's fans into frenzy. What a great match it was and great effort by the Indian players! They were so close to victory but one man's determination and courage sunk them into the abyss of defeat.
The match was not surely for the wek-hearted and I could hear my heart thumping fast when the match was inching towards the final moment. Both India and Pakistan deserve our kudos for presenting us such a scintillating game. Cricket is a game of uncertainty and who knows it more than boom, boom Afridi?
