AI as a learning aid

June 06, 2023 00:00:00

Despite facing criticism for hampering students' critical thinking ability, Artificial Intelligence (AI) could become a reliable companion for students. Since AI chatbots does not get tired of answering questions, they allow students to ask a myriad of questions until they fully understand a concept. This is particularly useful for the students who struggle with a theory or assignment topic and need additional support. Moreover, AI algorithms can analyse student data, adjust to their learning preferences, and provide suggestions and feedback that are specific to each student's requirements and skills. Hence, AI provides a more personalised experience and creates a non-judgmental academic environment for all types of students.

Therefore, AI has a significant impact on reducing the risk of students' depression, which is linked to academic pressure. The continuous presence of AI gives assurance to students and boosts their motivation and self-confidence in the academic world. Finally, AI has a tremendous impact on enhancing the well-being and mental health of students by offering consistent support.
