I am really glad to find that Bangladesh and India are planning to introduce waterway travel between the two countries. If implemented, it will surely encourage the tourists of both Bangladesh and India to visit each other's country more frequently. Even tourists from the Western countries will feel interested to try this waterway route, which is expected to be enjoyable, comfortable and comparatively cheaper. Once India and Bangladesh waterway travel begins, we will be able to attract foreign tourists offering them a waterway tour package.
The governments of the two countries should take every effective step to increase people-to-people contact. India and Bangladesh have for sometime been enjoying excellent relations and it is high time the relationship was taken to the next level.
I hope the Indian government will relax the visa formalities for the Bangladeshi people so that they don't face hassles when they go to collect the visas. I am eager to travel to India on waterways and expect that it will begin soon.
