Better mobile networks for all

We know that the students, particularly those living in the rural areas, cannot secure a good mobile network for getting internet speed required for attending classes online during the current pandemic since there is hardly any broadband internet services there. As a result, distance learning of a vast majority of the children has been hampered.
It's hard to understand who actually would take the responsibility for the losses of a generation. Service providers often cannot deliver the required services while regulators and authorities concerned don't say why millions would be deprived of the opportunity to learn online when the country has gone digital.
The Covid-19 hit Bangladesh in mid-March and since then, we have not seen much initiative by way of progress in providing smooth internet and power supply. Oftentimes, it has been proved that mere rhetoric cannot solve the real life problems. If proper infrastructures are built, this will help create opportunities as proved during the pandemic when many people have been working from office.
