Cancer and its deadly spread

January 26, 2015 00:00:00

Every year 4th February is observed as the International Day of Cancer and our country is no exception. But mere observance of the day will not bring about the desired result. We all must be united and fight against this disease as it is one of the leading causes of death in the world. We need to create awareness among the people so that we can fight against this deadly disease with all our might. Unfortunately, people of our country are not aware of this disease and many are often caught unguarded.

Cancer is caused by the out of control cell growth. It is the result of cells that grow uncontrollably and do not die. Smoking is one of the causes of cancer and if we can prevent the young generation from smoking, we shall be able to achieve a significant victory against cancer. Scientists are still researching to find antidote for cancer and I hope they will be able to discover it soon and save millions of lives.
