RAMADI, July 20 (AFP): Three people were killed, including two policemen, in a car bomb blast in western Iraqi city of Ramadi Monday, the second attack there in a week, security and medical officials said.
Four other people were wounded, including two policemen, in the bombing near the provincial government headquarters in the centre of the city.
Ramadi is the capital of the western province of Anbar, a one-time bastion of the Sunni insurgency that has seen a sharp drop-off in violence over the past 18 months as local tribes allied with US-led forces.
