The election has mostly been a festival time in our country for which the common people wait eagerly as the high and mighty people come to their doors and seek their blessings. At present, whenever we go out we find a festive mood everywhere in the city. Although we face traffic jams due to election campaigns, we still enjoy the vibe. We are elated, after a long time the voters will be able to cast their votes and choose representatives of their choice.
Now the common people feel that their votes are an important powerful tool to bring about their desired changes in society and help move things in the right direction. It is also good to see that a lot of young faces have been nominated by both major political parties. Most of them are young and educated. Everything now depends on the election commission.
All eyes are on the commission to judge how it ensures a secure and peaceful atmosphere for the elections so that voters can come and cast their votes peacefully. We all are looking forward to seeing a free, fair and peaceful election to take place. Surely a free and fair election shall strengthen our democracy and consolidate the prosperity we achieved through the years.
