Clear salary & bonus before Eid

Eid-ul-Adha, the festival of sacrifice, is imminent. Thousands of garment industry workers in this country, most of whom are employed in export-oriented factories, are apprehensive whether their due salaries and festival bonus would be paid before Eid. These workers contribute significantly to earning foreign currency. The garment industry is a pioneer in hiring both technical and non-technical personnel for its operations, with most employees working as operators.

In Bangladesh, there are two main religious festivals. On these occasions, garment workers are compelled to launch street movements to get their salaries and bonuses cleared. This is very unfortunate. For celebration of Eid, employees also need extra money. Therefore, it is essential to clear all dues before Eid.
