NEW HAMPSHIRE, Jun 28 (AFP) : Hillary and Bill Clinton each gave Barack Obama's White House campaign a donation of 2,300 dollars Friday to reinforce a unity drive among the star Democrats, aides said.
The online donations, confirmed by Hillary Clinton spokeswoman Jamie Smith, were the maximum allowed under federal law and came after Obama gave Clinton 2,300 US dollars to help retire her whopping campaign debts.
The donations from Clinton and her husband, the former president, were announced as she joined Obama for a high-profile reconciliation rally in the aptly named town of Unity, New Hampshire.
