Conspiracy against interim government
October 26, 2024 00:00:00
Allegations of conspiracy against the interim government are not entirely baseless. The syndicate groups that thrived during the fascist Sheikh Hasina era remain active even today and are hatching various plots to tarnish the government's image. Their aim is to sow discontent among the public and undermine confidence in the administration. Although the government has succeeded in countering some of these plots, it has been unable to fully control the power of the syndicates. Obviating their influence is a significant challenge, not only for the government but for the entire nation.
The interim government must take swift and decisive action to confront these syndicates. First, stricter laws should be enforced to combat malfeasance by traders, and transparency in the market must be ensured. Effective administrative measures are crucial for curbing the power of syndicates. Therefore, coordinated and decisive action at every level of government is essential to dismantle these networks. Urgent and effective steps must be taken to safeguard the fundamental rights of the people, improve their quality of life, and protect the national interest.
