Controlling anger

September 20, 2018 00:00:00

Anger is a part of life and no human being is without anger. Often we get angry and do or say the thing we later regret very much. Anger obliterates our capacity for clear thinking. When we become angry our rational thinking gets clouded and we lose our own control. Many of us have a tendency to get angry very easily and often it goes out of control. Anger is a normal emotion but if we become angry very often then something is wrong with us. Anger is very bad for our physical and mental health. We all should try to control our temper so that we do not make our life more critical and be full of regret and remorse. When we get angry or annoyed our body experiences a hormonal surge. Anger raises our blood pressure, create headaches, make us depressed and seriously impair our judgment. Meditation, exercise and taking a timeout is the best way to control anger. We should remember that "to be angry is to revenge of the faults of others on ourselves." So let's be the master of anger rather than being a slave of it.
