Costly political impasse needs to be addressed

The ongoing political discords and anarchy have hit hard the country which is now limping in every sector and experiencing drastic economic downturn. The two mainstream political parties seem to have locked their horns probably once and for all, heralding a costly political impasse which urgently demands to be addressed.

Holding innocent people hostage and wrecking havoc around mindlessly cannot be an acceptable means of demonstration of any protests by any civilized nation. If they are truly patriotic political leaders, then they must act sensibly with a view to keeping the country's economy unharmed and ensuring the security of peoples' lives.

Political leaders must uphold their patriotism in their every action. A leader without patriotism cannot be a true leader of the people. A true leader  is above greed for power and to whom country's welfare is the foremost consideration.

It is high time our political leaders shunned the path of further mayhem and prove their true patriotism.
