Crash of Ethiopian Airlines

An Ethiopian Airlines crashed in the air when it was going from Ethiopia to Kenya on Sunday morning. All the 149 passengers and eight crew members were killed. It was a Boeing 737 Max 8 jet. In last October, a plan of same model crashed into the sea off the Indonesian capital of Jakarta, killing all 189 people onboard.
After Sunday's shocking accident, Ethiopian Airlines have joined carriers in China and the Cayman Islands which have suspended the use of Boeing 737 Max 8 jets. Many other airlines--such as Singapore Airlines, Korean Air etc---have started closely watching the performance of Boeing 737 Max 8 jets.
Unlike train or bus accidents, when a plan crashes, we usually see all people on board die. Every plane accident needs to be thoroughly looked into. Lessons from such accidents need to be shared with all stakeholders --who are into manufacturing, business and operation of airlines.
Zero tolerance for safety hazards and strict control of safety risks are essential to save humans.
