Criminals in disguise of law enforcers

We often go through the news that fake ones are being arrested by the real law enforcers. The exact number of such horrific incidents is more than those coming to the limelight. The criminals are taking the advantage as they know the common people are afraid of the law enforcers. They regularly harass the common people in disguise and simply rob them.

Most of the incidents are not reported to the police stations as the victims fear further harassment. The criminals get encouraged by this. I hope the government will take necessary steps to allay the fears of common people about police and to ensure a friendly relation between them. The law enforcers should not forget that they are giving services to the common people and they are not their masters. Police should be trained up to improve relation with the common people. The police stations should be more people-friendly and the whole law- enforcing agency should be more techno savvy so that the common people can lodge their complaints and receive various services through the internet. It is high time we dispel fear of the law enforcers from the psyche of the commoners.
