Cut back children's junk food consumption

Parental awareness about baby food is crucial. As children grow older, many parents lack knowledge about which foods are beneficial and which are harmful. Some may know but fail to prioritise this due to time constraints or other occupations. It is essential to remember that a child's physical and mental development depends on their diet. Therefore, parents need to be aware of what foods their child is consuming.
If a child becomes accustomed to unhealthy foods such as chocolates, chips, ice cream, and sour-salty-sweet pickles, it can be disastrous. These foods are often processed and lack essential vitamins, making them harmful. Regular consumption of such foods can lead to various symptoms in children, including lack of sleep, dizziness, restlessness, forgetfulness, inattention to studies, reluctance to eat home-cooked meals, and addiction to non-productive activities. Additionally, these foods can cause serious health issues.
Parents play a crucial role in their child's condition because the family is the first institution responsible for a child's development. Therefore, it is important for families to minimise the consumption of outside food and prioritise healthy, home-cooked meals. Family awareness and effort can help a child grow a healthy dietary habit.
