BAGHDAD, Dec 4 (AFP): Two suspected suicide car bombs have exploded in the Iraqi city of Falluja killing at least 10 people and injuring dozens more, police have said,
The attacks targeted two police positions, both of which were badly damaged in the blasts, officials said.
Falluja is in the western province of Anbar, which was the centre of a Sunni-led rebellion against US forces after the 2003 invasion. The police posts targeted were in different districts of the city. Security forces have imposed a curfew in both areas, reports say.
"The two suicide car bombers burst into the two police centres in the western neighbourhood of Golan and the eastern area of Shurta, almost at the same time," a security official told the AFP news agency.
