Recently, several dailies published an advertisement from Surjer Hasi Network (SHN). The ad said that recruitment advertisements published in the name of SHN in some job circulation-based papers, such as 'Saptahik Chakrir Sangbad', 'Saptahik Chakrir Bazar', were never given by SHN. Through the ads, SHN requested job-seekers of the country not to respond to those false advertisements.
This is yet another incident of deception in the employment sector of the country.
Many fraudulent gangs and fraudulent people are engaged in such unscrupulous activities. They know that the unemployed people are desperate to find work. They would go to any length just to secure a steady job. The frauds take advantage of this desperation and try to rip-off the unemployed further.
I can hope that all organisations will be as responsible as SHN. Job-seekers should also be more alert about the places and positions they are applying for. Often some jobs ask for hefty amounts of money as 'processing fee', 'application fee' etc. Job-seekers should inquire about any fees before handing the money over.
It is time we made recruitment easy and accessible for thousands of young people in the country. Those who are trying to deceive these young people must be brought to book.
