Definition of freedom fighter

It is good to learn that the government is working on identifying the genuine freedom fighters and listing out the fake ones. As an important move towards this, the Jatiya Muktijoddha Council has redefined the freedom fighters delisting those who were below 15 years during the 1971 Liberation War. We welcome this decision and hope the government will not deviate from this. But we are terribly annoyed why government actions against the four secretaries whose certificates were cancelled on charges of forgery are being delayed. Beyond doubt the Anti Corruption Bureau and the Ministry of Liberation War Affairs proved that they are fake freedom fighters and took recourse to forgery and falsehood for obtaining freedom fighter's certificate. Without further delay we demand stern action against them. They have no right to stay in the government service. They must be stripped of all facilities taken so far as freedom fighters.
