Demise of veteran journalist ABM Musa

It was a sad day for our journalism when veteran journalist ABM Musa passed away. With his demise we have lost a golden son of our country. His departure created a vacuum in our media which won't be filled in. The alumni association of the Mass Communication and Journalism (MCJ) department of the University of Dhaka honoured him last year for his remarkable contributions to our national media. He was always vocal against tyranny and injustice. He is an inspiration for everyone who wants to join journalism. He was equally respected at home and abroad for being the country's most senior columnist and journalist. We need many enlightened, outspoken fearless personalities like ABM Musa. May Allah put his soul to rest and peace!
