Deteriorating law and order situation
December 25, 2013 00:00:00
The murder of six people of a family in the capital has shocked the common people. Due to the recent political unrest and violence the law enforcers are busy protecting the VIPs and sizing up the leaders and activities of the opposition party. So, they are unable to check the criminal activities. We can't blame our law enforcers as they are already exhausted with overwork.
The common people are spending their time in insecurity and the law enforcers are having hard time due to the ongoing political unrest. The ruling party will not be able to subdue the situation by brutal force rather it will make the whole situation worse.
Our political history clearly shows that whenever the ruling party used blatant force to suppress its opponent, it backfired. The upcoming general election has become a national joke as already 154 candidates have won without any contest. I hope the ruling party will bring order in our country and stop wasting time in arranging an election which will have no effect to establish peace here.
