Disrupted public life by load-shedding

Gazipur district is the second-largest industrial region in Bangladesh, home to thousands of mills and industries. Hundreds of thousands of people in service live here. Maintaining these mills and industries requires a substantial amount of fuel, yet they avoid disruptions thanks to their own generator systems.
For months, the problem of load-shedding has been acute in almost all villages and areas of Gazipur. Residents struggle to perform daily tasks as electricity is unavailable for 16-17 hours a day. This results in numerous issues, including difficulties with water preservation, coping with intense heat, loss of refrigerated food, and difficulty in studying. The situation worsens when heavy rain and storms damage the electricity supply. This problem is no longer confined to Gazipur but affects the entire country.
The government has taken many steps and implemented various projects, but these have not provided a permanent solution.
Therefore, resolving this issue is crucial for the well-being of the people. I urge the authorities concerned and the government to identify and address the deficiencies and weaknesses in reducing load-shedding.
