It is good to know that the Indian government has eased the visa process for Bangladeshi businessmen. This will reduce sufferings of the people who go to India for business purpose.
Lately, getting an Indian visa became an arduous process. It needs to be simplified. Bangladesh and India are now enjoying excellent relations and I believe the governments of the two countries can think of introducing the on-arrival visa system so that more people of both countries feel encouraged to visit each others' country.
I want to go to India often but due to the lengthy visa process I cannot do it as frequently as I want to. The Indian government should relax the visa procedure not only for Bangladeshi businessmen but also for every Bangladeshi citizen. It will only improve the bilateral relations between the two countries.
India and Bangladesh share a common history, and our cultures have also many things in common. If the interaction between the peoples of the two friendly countries increases, it will be helpful for both the nations.
Every year millions of Bangladeshi people visit India for various purposes like study, medical treatment, tourism and business. With every passing year the number of visitors is increasing. I think it is high time Bangladesh and India took their relationship to the next level of cooperation.
