We cannot ignore eve-teasers and stalkers anymore as it has assumed ominous proportions. Recently a young man died in the capital when he protested teasing and harassment of his sister by a group of ruffians. Due to regular teasing and harassment, many parents feel insecure and stop their daughters from attending schools or college or universities. This makes the girls frustrated and at times compels them to commit suicide.
The law enforcers should take stern action against the repeated offenders and the society should not take a lenient view of eve teasing. The media should create awareness about the ills of eve teasing and the way it impedes the healthy growth of our society. The parents should inculcate moral values in their children so that they refrain from anti-social activities, like, eve teasing and stalking.
The eve teasers are actually killers and our law enforcing agencies should deal with them in the way they actually deserve and free society of these atrocious killers
