Excitement brewing over Bangla-India encounter

Excitement is mounting on the eve of the Bangladesh-India quarterfinal in the World Cup Cricket on Thursday at MCG. Local and international media are vibrant with speculations. India is definitely the favourite and that is why pressure is more on the Indian side than us. But considering the recent performance of Bangladesh, possibility of a Bangladesh victory can not be ruled out altogether.
Tigers are in high spirits and the way they performed against teams like England and New Zealand, they have reasons to be optimistic. Social media like facebook, twitter are full of comments on the match. Everyone is hopeful about a victory of their team. I am sure if the Tigers can carry on from where they left recently, it will be very tough challenge for the Indians.
One is reminded of the history of 2007 world cup when the Tigers beat the Indians and threw them out of the World Cup. In the ongoing World Cup Bangladesh is playing like a team and in every match most players are performing well. Mahmudullah will be the Bangladeshi player who will get most of the attention from fans and media alike. He scored two sparkling back-to-back centuries against England and New Zealand and is in a very good touch. I hope the cricket world will watch a thrilling match and we shall see the Tigers triumphant over the defending champions.
