Whenever I hear about people being killed by some law-enforcers without the holding of proper trial and following of due legal procedure, I try to imagine how I would have felt had it happened to me or any of my near and dear ones. The thought is totally sickening. If the incidents of extra judicial killings are not completely stopped immediately, our society will be turned into a lawless jungle where the might will be the only right. Extra-judicial killing doesn't go along with the rule of law and democracy.
Every other day we read or hear about so-called criminals being killed by the law enforcers and no matter how much the ruling quarters try to justify it, it is not right. The incidents of extra-judicial killing are badly affecting the families of the victims. Every citizen of this country has the right to self-defence in the courts of law to prove his or her innocence. We must not forget that until someone is proved guilty, he or she should be treated innocent. We hope extra-judicial killing will come to an end soon and we will live peacefully without any fear.
