Facebook guide for students

There is no need to mention any statistical data on how students of our country are addicted to Facebook. It has emerged as an epidemic but we can't stop it for even for a day.

Guardians are worried about the harmful effects of Facebook but we are not looking at it in a little different way. By using Facebook, we can induce our young people to study more.

The Education Ministry can make authentic Facebook page for students or take initiative to make school Facebook pages. These pages may contain books, exam routine, result, admission information, syllabus, question pattern and other necessary things. The authority can also make subject-wise Facebook page for students. Notre Dam College and some other reputed schools and colleges have already done it but the approach should be more systematic.

Furthermore, most of the students have not enough idea as to how they can easily learn through internet. More training programmes are necessary for young students so that they can take advantage of modern technology. They need more persuasion in the right way by giving motivation. It is time to motivate our students to study more. Otherwise, unwillingness of reading books harms the realm of knowledge.
