I have been reading The Financial Express for the last four years. I first read it at the seminar room of the Business Faculty, University of Dhaka when I was a student of Accounting & Information Systems. I was a regular reader of The Daily star, New Age, Observer and Daily Sun. But I got a different taste from reading The Financial Express.
In my view The Financial Express has some specialties that other dailies don't have. It offers thoughtful analysis of (a) economic, political, cultural, educational and social issues of the country and (b) International issues (e.g., syndication with FT).
Every day I spend about 1.30 hours to read and take notes from The Financial Express which have enriched my knowledge and sharpened my analytical thinking. It is a newspaper that thinks globally but helps to work locally.
Today (27-11-2014) I collected the special issue of The Financial Express on Thursday (November 27) and is very happy to see analysis on every sectors of life (political, economic, cultural, international, social and climate change etc.).
Every year I shall wait for the anniversary issue to read and preserve it. I hope The Financial Express will
go ahead to serve the interest of the nation.
