For teachers to take role models

Earlier, only devoted, honest and learned people became teachers. Actually, they are the people to take the society forward. But, if we look at the present scenario in our secondary education, we will find that in almost all the non-government secondary schools less qualified teachers are recruited in exchange of money that mostly goes to  the ruling party members. This is also the case of teaching positions at college levels and it is an open secret.

Quality of teachers of non-government primary schools is even worse

compared to that of secondary schools and now the teachers are going to be absorbed in the government teachers pool. The teachers are looked upon as leaders of the society. It is, therefore, necessary that we have an institution that can produce good and ideologically motivated teachers who can be  leaders in our society.

Meritorious and devoted people should be recruited for the teaching profession through Public Service Commission with better salary so that they can play their designated role.
