Four more US soldiers killed in Iraq

BAGHDAD, Aug 14 (AFP): Insurgents killed four more American soldiers in Iraq, three of them in one explosion, the US military said in a statement obtained Tuesday.
Three Task Force Lightning soldiers died and one more was wounded when insurgents set off a bomb near their vehicle Monday in the restive northern province of Nineveh, the military said.
The military did not give the specific location of the attack but said the blast occurred when the soldiers were conducting security operations.
Another soldier was killed when he was attacked during combat operations in western Baghdad Monday, the military said in a separate statement.
