Gross irregularities with FR tower

The government should take stern actions against everyone whose negligence cost the nation 26 lives through the fire incident at FR Tower in Banani on March 28, 2019. It has been reported by the media that the design of the building, its construction and extension were full of irregularities. Those who made the design and the government officials, who had approved it, should all face the consequences. There was no space for emergency exit. The building code was violated. Police have already arrested the owners but they are yet to arrest the people who approved it. Legal steps against these people will also act as a warning against those who are currently serving in similar capacities. There are plenty of similar buildings located all across Dhaka. Most of these buildings have violated building code and still got away by 'managing' government officials.

I sincerely hope and pray that we have learned our lesson for good. Otherwise, more urban disasters are waiting to happen.
