Gruesome and shocking murder of Tasfia

DEATH of Tasfia Amin, a grade IX student of Sunshine Grammar School, an English medium school in Chattagram had cast a shadow of gloom across the country. It is very unfortunate that a girl with a promising future had to die at such a tender age and that too on the night of holy Shab-e-Barat. Police already filed a case with Patenga Police Station and arrested six persons in this connection. Earlier the dead body of the victim was recovered from Patenga sea beach. The prime suspect Adnan Mirza (16), a friend of Tasfia, a student of Class Nine of Bangladesh Elementary School and son of a businessman, has been arrested. Police are looking into the incidents leading to the mysterious death of Tasfia. We only hope that the motives behind her murder will soon be unearthed and persons responsible will be punished by law. Meanwhile, I would like to request all parents to keep a closer watch on their children and monitor their movements and activities regularly so that they remain safe and secure. Death of Tasfia should be an eye-opener for us. The teachers and students of the school formed a human chain in front of the school to protest against the killing. We all demand exemplary punishment of her killers.
