The Rajon murder has rocked the country. It was gruesome and tragic. The police probe report revealed that a few unscrupulous police personnel evaded their responsibility and allowed the main culprit to leave the country.
In the past, we have seen many sensational murder cases being kept under the carpet. The Rajon murder evoked sensation in the media and society alike. It has become a popular demand that the main offender should be brought back home and given a befitting punishment.
The media is instrumental in shaping public opinion effectively. With free press and social networking, we can fight off the deteriorating law and disorder situation in the society. Nobody should have the guts to take law in his hand and commit crimes as he wishes.
All kinds of extrajudicial killings should be stopped forthwith and justice should be allowed to prevail at any cost. In the same manner, we should not allow mob lynching to happen which is illegal and unbecoming of a civilised society. If law and justice reign supreme, the country will be free from chaos and disorder.
