Happy Father's Day

Yes, we do agree that parents should be appreciated every day for the hard work, tears and sweat they put into raising their children. But a day solely dedicated to this purpose should never hurt anyone. In a fast-paced, busy world, we should save a particular day to observe and realise the importance of a father in our life. International Day of Fathers or what we usually call Father's Day is celebrated annually around the globe on the third Sunday of June. This year, it falls on today.

Father's Day is an occasion to celebrate our fathers' immense contribution in our lives. We thank them for their efforts to raise families with so much care. Fathers are like rock-solid pillars to us. They stand by us whenever we start facing any problem. They are the ones who usually give us advice, guidance, and encouragement so that we can win every battle of our life. On this day we recall, recognise and remember the endless efforts, initiatives and contributions of all the fathers around us. Like other countries, Bangladesh celebrates this day with great fervour nowadays. It has become a day to not only honour our fathers, but all men who play the role of a father.
