Harmful effects of excessive phone use

Smartphones have made our life easy and comfortable. But their excessive use can bring more harm than good. According to an app analytics firm, people are spending an average of 4.8 hours a day on their smartphones, which is nearly a third of the time that they are awake. These findings are alarming. We have to admit that life without mobile phones is difficult, considering our dependence on it. But no matter how useful it is, we cannot ignore the underlying negative effects that cellphones can have on our mind and body.
The constant use of smartphones is often linked to depression and other health complications. Even more worrying is that it leads to fatalities by distracting people who are driving or walking on the streets with their faces glued to their phones. Addiction to smartphones can affect relationships, productivity, and lead to a total disconnect from the real world. So, before you get glued to your phone, please think twice.
