Health sector: Role of our leaders

According to the World Health Organisation (WHO), "Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being". The United Nations (UN) specified health goals in its Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) number 3 (three). SDG3 calls for promoting "Good health and well-being". So without a healthy society, it is impossible to maintain healthy life.
The government can fulfil the expectations of people by arranging logistic supports and funds to improve health services in the country.
A strategy for achieving positive health for every individual to lead a socially and economically productive life -- Health for All -- should get endorsement as a policy at the highest political level. We look up to our leaders to push this agenda nationally. The government should spend more money spent on health care.
The vulnerable group among us needs equitable distribution of health services to survive. We count on our leaders to keep it in line with priority.
Globally, prosperity of a nation is measured by life expectancy and mortality rate. Our leaders should raise awareness among the people about healthy life. They should inspire the people to adopt a healthy lifestyle.
