The people of Bangladesh are passing through a spell of cold and chilly winter. Those living on pavements and railway platforms or other open areas are the worst hit people. They cannot afford enough warm clothes to cover their body and therefore need help from others.
There are tens of thousands of them across the country. Everybody should remember that a single warm cloth can protect the life of a man shivering in cold. As a human being, we should extend a helping hand in support of these people.
I shall therefore urge upon everybody to contribute to the efforts of volunteers in every locality collecting warm clothes, blankets etc. as much as they can. Particularly, the affluent class people has a lot to do in this respect. The non-government organizations, student's organizations, banks are already distributing warm clothes (blankets, sweater, corpulent pant, jumper, maple etc.) and we can join them to intensify their efforts.
