Hold police personnel accountable for murder

The entire nation remains acutely aware of the police brutality during the quota reform movement. Numerous individuals are currently fighting for life in hospitals, unsure whether they will ever reclaim a semblance of normalcy.

Following the interim government's assumption of power, the police administration underwent multiple reorganisations. Reports suggest that the police force has yet to achieve full operational status. Even if the higher authorities gave orders to use lethal weapons, it is still a terrible crime to have targeted young civilians fighting for a fair cause.

The interim government must undertake a comprehensive overhaul of policing strategies to reestablish trust, transparency, and accountability. Those who killed students must be held accountable because such crimes cannot go unaddressed.
