Illegally staying foreigners and their crimes

Recently the law enforcement agency members detained 31 foreigners for illegally staying in our country. Even after expiry of their visas they stayed back in our country. Many of foreigners who stay illegally in our country are also involved in crimes like drug trafficking, circulating fake foreign currency and credit card forgery. Every year our law enforcers arrest overstaying foreigners but they soon go out Scot free on bail and get back to their murky illegal activities. The law enforcing agency should increase their vigilance on the foreigners without of course harassing those who are working legally and leaving a positive impact on our country through expertise in their respective fields.  The house owners who rent their house to foreigners should make sure that they have valid visa. Many international criminals find it easy to stay in Bangladesh and conduct their criminal activities as the monitoring of the law enforcing agencies is quite lax.  If we do not take tough measures against the foreigners who violate the laws of the land, it will encourage other foreign criminals to come to Bangladesh and carry out illegal activities.  The international communities should increase their mutual cooperation against the international criminals so that they do not feel safe anywhere in the world in and after committing crimes.
