Importance of comic books for children

Comic books can shape the mindset of people through beautifully illustrated pages and interesting images. This is why people, often children, who read them are highly influenced by them. However, it is unfortunate that we in Bangladesh do not see such publications on a regular basis. If our writers and publication houses bring out comic books depicting our own life and society, we wouldn't have to depend on foreign books.

Comic books are designed in the best possible way to help children learn and grow. Visual stories in these books have a strong and enduring influence on children. So, we urge our writers and cartoonists to bring out comic books so that the children can get the desired benefits. Let us not forget that arts and literature, in particular, pave the way for a progressive society.
