Increase ferries on Paturia-Daulatdia route

Waiting for a ferry, hundreds of trucks and covered vans carrying various kinds of goods remain stranded at Daulatdia ghat in Rajbari every day for hours. Due to the ferry crisis, transportation on the Paturia-Daulatdia route is reportedly being disrupted. People who use this route have been suffering for days after days.

The crisis has deepened since a ferry capsized at Paturia ferry terminal recently. In the meantime, four ferries have reportedly been sent to the dockyard for repairs. In this situation, it is necessary to run several more ferries on this route immediately. We request the concerned authorities to look into this matter, and take appropriate measures to reduce passengers' suffering.
