Indian visa

Every year thousands of people from Bangladesh travel to India for various purposes. But unfortunately Indian visa system for Bangladeshi is arduous and lengthy. A visa applicant has to make repeated attempts to get a date for visa from online visa website and the Indian authority attributes this to visa application overload. I don't understand why the Indian high commission does not upgrade its online system and make it more user-friendly. If necessary, the high commission can increase manpower so that more visas can be issued everyday and the time lag can be reduced.

Day by day the number of Bangladeshi travellers will increase and so the Indian authority should bring necessary changes to its system.  I hope, both Bangladesh and India will think about allowing visa on arrival which will minimise the hassles and encourage more interaction between the two peoples. India and Bangladesh share a glorious history and therefore things should be planned in the light of better bilateral relations.
