Insufficient and poor state of healthcare

Medical treatment is getting close to a luxury today and is fast going out of reach of the common people. The doctors have become too business-oriented and they are usually mindless of the economic conditions of their patients while prescribing medicines and pathological tests.
As a result, families of patients with lesser financial ability have to borrow money to cover the cost of treatment. Even in India, the situation is not as bad as the Indian doctors are more compassionate and caring than ours. That is the reason why so many people prefer to go to India for medical treatment and we cannot blame them for doing do.
Most of our people cannot afford private clinics as they are too expensive for them. On the other hand, public hospitals are in disarray and the common people have to withstand a lot of difficulties to get even the minimum standard of treatment.
The life expectancy of Bangladeshi people is gradually increasing and child death rate is decreasing and the common people now need better health care facilities. I think, the government should take immediate steps to bring discipline to the public hospitals and health centres, so that the common people can get at least a moderate medical treatment without any hassle.
