Interesting English words!

1. No word in the English language rhymes with month, orange, silver or purple.

2. 'Dreamt' is the only English word that ends in the letters 'mt'.

3. The sentence: 'The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog' uses every letter of the alphabet.

4. The words 'race-car, 'kayak' and 'level' remain the same whether they are read from left to right or from right to left.

5. There are only four words in the English language which end with 'dous'. These are:  tremendous, horrendous, stupendous and hazardous.

6. There are two words in the English language that have all five vowels in alphabetical order: 'abstemious' and 'facetious.'
