Investing in good health
April 08, 2022 00:00:00
The World Health Day has been observed around the world including Bangladesh recently on April 7 with an array of programmes. Every year it is celebrated with different theme and this year the theme is 'Our Planet, Our Health'. This year's theme aims to direct global attention towards the well-being of our planet and the humans living in it. However, the main aim to celebrate this day is to increase awareness about health-related concerns that every human being faces and how to deal with them.
The Covid-19 pandemic has taught all of us the real meaning of health. Health should be our first priority. We should take care of our health. Regular exercise, meditation, healthy food habit and adequate sleep are good for the well-being of our physical as well as mental health. They can help us deal with our stress, anxiety and depression. The best investment you can do in your life is to invest in your own health. It will always be beneficial. A sound health is a goal that every person dreams to achieve but only a few succeeds. So let us take a pledge this year to put our cent per cent efforts in our health.
