Janata Bank is the second largest state-owned commercial bank of Bangladesh. Though the bank is making progress under the present management, some activities regarding promotion is seen as detrimental to the interest of the dedicated officers. Some dishonest employees grab promotion by lobbying and bribing to the neglect of the deserved employees who are honest and dedicated. For example, most of those who joined as Assistant Executive Officer (Teller) do not get promotion for a long time.
We humbly request the authority to consider their cases and arrange promotion for those who have masters degree, banking diploma (2 part), 5 years' service length and got selection grade. This will relieve them of their mental agony and frustration.
