Japan PM declares no-go zone around N-plant

TOKYO, Apr 21 (AFP): Japan's Prime Minister (PM) Naoto Kan today declared the 20-kilometre (12-mile) evacuation area around the stricken Fukushima nuclear plant a legal no- entry zone, Kyodo News reported.
The move, due to come into effect at midnight local time, came after police found more than 60 families still living inside the zone around the plant that was hit by the March 11 quake and tsunami and has since leaked radiation.
