The gun culture in the USA has cost lives of another 19 children and two teachers. This tragic incident shocked not only America but the whole world. A crazy teenage boy reportedly wreaked the carnage on his 18th birthday. But this is not for the first time it happened. In fact, it is the 39th such tragedy in past six months in the states, showing an alarming rise of gun shooting crimes there. A number of people have blamed the free gun licensing system in the so-called well advanced country for the carnage. Another major reason for youngsters like the murderer resorting to such crimes is the violence-filled films and games that present all sorts of nonsense elements.
So, it is paramount on the part of our parents to be in constant touch with their children, and watch them carefully for any deviation in their behaviour. It is high time we returned to value-based family life, making the children to listen to the advice of the elders. Giving children too much of freedom can also lead them to criminal activities and immorality.
