Maghbazar-Malibag flyover

The construction work of the Maghbazar-Malibag flyover is going on in full swing but its utility remains questionable. There always remains heavy traffic jam at Banglamotor junction. The traffic situation will worsen there when the flyover will be opened for traffic. Vehicles coming uninterrupted from all directions of the flyover-- Malibagh, Tejgaon Satrasta, and Ramna thana, will land at Bangla Motor. This will result in tremendous traffic congestion at Banglamotor.

It would be appropriate to extend the flyover beyond Bangla Motor junctions over the Syed Nazrul Islam Swarani. We believe there is still time to look into the matter. Traffic movement statistics of the area will speak the correctness of the proposal.
